Children's Bank
Somerset Children's Bank offers a range of development opportunities for children aged 8 - 11 years. The funding can allow them to have opportunities to learn about and participate in their own communities and develop new skills, travel and have new experiences.
The purpose of Children's Bank is to enable children to participate in a 'positive activity'. By 'positive activity' we mean an activity that takes place outside normal education hours that enables children to gain new personal skills or develop existing ones.
Priorit for this funding is given to disadvantaged children who would not otherwise be able to access positive activities.
A new application form has been released (April 2012), please ensure you use this version and not an old one.

Applications are generally considered on the first Sunday of each month, and forms must be submitted no less than one week beforehand. You can confirm the date of the next meeting by visiting the UK Youth Parliament web pages.
