First meeting Tuesday 3rd June
Then every Tuesday from 3pm to 5.30pm
Over the last year we have witnessed some interesting changes to Shepton Mallet, from the development of the Amulet into the Arts/Dance Academy, the new Tesco site, the face-lift on the shop fronts, the development of Haskins, talks of the Anglo Trading Estate being developed and a College to be placed next to Whitstone school.
It is important at this vital stage that the young people of Shepton are involved and encouraged to take an interest and play an active part in this change.
The group will consist of up to 40 young people aged from 11 to 19 years old. Andrea White – Area Youth Worker and Co-Worker Debbie Dowling will be supporting the young people and will be available every Tuesday from 3pm to 5.30pm. The group will meet in the office of Shepton Mallet Young People’s Centre.
The group will be divided into smaller working parties that will be dictated by the topics that young people are interested in.
