This centre is one of the largest in South Somerset. Built on one level it provides easy access for all. The faciltiies that the centre provide allows us to have a varied and exciting programme such as cooking, indoor and outdoor games, group work on issues which affect young people and socialising.

Young people can play pool, chat to other young people and youth workers, join in the activities and gain support and advice on a variety of issues.

The centre is open two evenings a week, Monday nights are open for Year 7 & 8 from 7-9.30 and Thursdays from 7.00pm to 9.30pm for Year 9+. Young people  are very welcome to "drop in" and become involved in the programme. Additional sessions operate as "projects"  for members to focus on particular pieces of work such as Senior Member Training, International Work, programme planning and information on a variety of subjects / issues.

The Youth Team work closely with Holyrood School and a variety of other partner agencies within the Community supporting inclusion, school attendance, individual support packages and referalls to speciaist services outside of Chard.
