The Local Service Team currently runs a youth club on for young people in school years 8-11, at Jubilee Park Pavilion on Tuesdays from 7-9pm. We have a pool table (only 10p a go!), table tennis, X Box 360 etc. as well as space just to chill out with your mates. Young people are encouraged to become involved in the management and running of this youth club, including developing a programme of activities and trips, and helping to manage the coffee bar.

The youth workers are always there to help support young people and can provide information, advice and support on a range of issues that affect their lives. Youth workers can provide access to training and accreditation for young people so they can develop skills and ideas for themselves. We also like to have FUN!

Some young people have been trained as Activ8ors to equip them with skills to support the youth workers in the club. 

We are pleased to work closely with many agencies and groups in the area, including schools, Connexions, South Somerset District Council, and the LinxProject to support young people who live or go to school here
