We work with young people:  In the parks, on the streets, wherever you choose to be!

• Who want to get something done in their community and need support to get it started and to keep it going.
• Groups or individuals who just want to hang out in their communities or want to organise activities.
• To provide one to one support to deal with particular issues OR assist you in finding the right support.
• Who may feel isolated due to being a minority within their communities.
• Who are young parents or young carers and want to meet in groups for support and personal development. we would love to hear from young dads - we want to develop support with young fathers but need your help, so please contact us to find out how you can get involved. Help us shape it!
• Taunton Deane Detached Project want YOU to be involved in the shaping and direction of your services. If you would like to be more involved, talk to your youth worker about the opportunities for getting your voice heard both locally and nationally. We believe that all young people need opportunities for learning about themselves, their communities and the world they live in. Youth workers aim to create these opportunties with young people. Youth workers are committed to supporting young people to reach their potential.

On the streets in the Taunton Deane area, in buildings and projects.  A youth worker will always carry an official County Council badge so please make sure you see it if it hasn't already been shown.
