Ile Youth Centre currently opens on Tuesday nights for school years 7 and above from 7.00 – 9.30pm.

The large centre provides a sports hall, TV/chill out room, kitchen and social area with a pool table. We offer a variety of things to do at the centre including team games and activities, cooking, sports including football, badminton, uni-hoc, table tennis and pool, playstation games, Wii, karaoke, arts and crafts. We also arrange trips out and residentials away for anything from an overnight stay to a week away!

The youth workers at the centre are there for you to talk to about anything important to you and to offer support in any situation. We have lots of information and leaflets about important issues including sexual health, drugs and alcohol, exams, stress, mental health. So if you need to speak to someone in confidence, tell a worker. There are quiet and private spaces available to use.

We also offer you opportunities to get involved in projects within the club and your community and to have lots of fun! These projects happen through young people deciding what they would like to do at the centre or in the town, working with the Youth workers at the centre to plan, organise, fundraise and participate in your chosen activity or project.
