The Sedgemoor Area has loads of things going on for young people, if you are aged between 13 and 19.

A lot of these activities happen at our Youth Hub based at the Rollercoaster, which is on Parkway, in Bridgwater next to East Bridgwater School. We also have an adventure base at our centre in Axbridge.

Built in 1998 the Rollercoaster Youth Hub formed part of a major community development through SRB. The main focus of the building is provision for young people and the local Community.

A team of dedicated youth workers operate from the Rollercoaster Youth Hub with our target age group being 13-19 years old. Sessions for young people run every day and most evenings at the Youth Hub, working with targeted groups and also providing open access sessions. We offer a range of activities and opportunities to young people for personal and social development .

We are currently providing outreach clubs in North Petherton, Nether Stowey, Axbridge, Westonzoyland, Woolavington and the Hamp area of Bridgwater.

Have a look at what is happening at the Youth Hub it includes an art room where you can do everything from drawing and painting to clay work to producing a mural like the one that is on the wall in Sedgemoor Splash.

Interested in music? No problem we can offer you the chance to learn how to play in a rock band. If you're already good enough we can help you to produce a demo CD in our recording studio. We can also offer you the opportunity to learn the basics of being a studio technician.

With the support of the community and other key agencies the Rollercoaster Youth Hub aims to build on its success. Current programmes are being expanded and a wider range of youth work opportunities are available.

If you can't get to any of our centres we can either come to you or help you to get to us by providing transport with our own minibus.
